The singer said she was "going to belch" as breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw cued the song up.
"My hips just started hurting, as I'm getting so nervous," she laughed. "There's a heartbeat in my hips for some reason."
"I obviously want people to like it," she said, describing the song as "very intimate" and "very conversational".
"I'm singing very high up in that chorus, trying to have a Meatloaf moment or something."
A simple piano ballad with a soaring chorus, Hello was first teased during an advert break on Sunday's edition of The X Factor.
Adele said she was worried people would think the 30-second clip was simply a new advert for John Lewis.
"I thought no-one's going to know it's me. It'll backfire," Adele told Grimshaw.

Media captionAdele speaks to Nick Grimshaw Asked
if she felt any pressure after the success of her last album 21, the
star said: "Because of my last album, because of what it went on to do,
it was kind of a write-off to ever expect anything with this album, the
new one, like that. So actually it made it a bit easier.
"Getting
into the headspace was really difficult - obviously now I'm a parent,
and having such a break off, I kind of fell out of the habit of writing
songs.
"So no I didn't feel pressure. But also I feel like every
album I'm ever going to write is always going to be following 21. Even
no matter what this album does, my next record's going to be following
21.
"It's phenomenal what happened with that - but it is a
phenomenon. I can't really include it in any expectations of anything I
ever do again."

Musically,
Hello doesn't rewrite any rule books but it's a powerful, moving
reminder of Adele's ability to pull at our heartstrings.
It
begins, like Someone Like You, with Adele's lone voice over a mournful
piano figure. But by the coda, the song soars - with a vocal flourish
that sends shivers down the spine.
The lyrics are a simple apology
for breaking someone's heart. Throughout the song, Adele repeatedly
tries to get in touch with her ex, but no response comes. By the end,
her regret is tinged with bitterness with that her transgression
"doesn't tear you apart".
"It's so typical of me to talk about myself, I'm sorry," she sings in the second verse.
Somehow, I don't think anyone will mind. The star's comeback comes after three years of
musical silence. Her last single was the Oscar-winning Bond theme
Skyfall in 2012. Her previous album, 21, was released a year earlier and
went on to become the biggest-selling record of the 21st Century.
Thanks largely to the success of the emotive ballad Someone Like You, the record sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.
In
the UK alone, it shifted 4.75 million copies, making it the country's
fourth best-selling album of all time, in an era when album sales have
been in critical decline.
The follow-up, 25, has now been scheduled for release on 20 November. Image copyrightReutersImage caption
Adele's last record won seven Grammys and two Brit Awards
Explaining the gap between albums, the star, who had
her first son, Angelo, in 2012, said: "I did pretty much write an album
about being a mum but that's pretty boring. I scrapped that.
"I
felt like I was never going to finish this record, she added. "It was a
long process. I wanted to give up a lot because I couldn't do it. I
thought I'd run out of ideas and I'd lost my ability to write a song.
"My team around me are so amazing. They're very honest. They were like, it's not good enough. Go back to the drawing board.
"It didn't hurt me at all. I think it's important that people are honest with you like that."
In
a statement earlier this week, the Grammy award-winner said the songs
were inspired by a "turning point" in her life when she became a
"fully-fledged adult".
"My last record was a break up record and
if I had to label this one I would call it a make up record," Adele said
in a statement. "I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time.
Making up for everything I ever did and never did."
Not much is
known about the sound of the 11 tracks that make up the album, but the
star has reportedly worked with Danger Mouse (U2, Gnarls Barkley, The
Black Keys) and Ryan Tedder (Beyonce, Adele's Rumour Has It), and Max
Martin (Britney Spears, Taylor Swift).
The new single is produced
by Greg Kurstin, whose previous credits include Lily Allen's The Fear
and Katy Perry's Double Rainbow.

Chicken restaurant has taken public relations to new heights by putting
a chicken in charge of its tweeter account. In the publicity stunt, the
chicken's keyboard was covered in chicken feed to ensure it keeps
pecking away. The company says it will keep it up until the chicken
types an intelligible five letter word and takes a place in Guinness
World Book Of Records as the first chicken to do so.
So
far it has only managed one word, 'bum'. However not everyone sees the
funny side with animal rights activist saying the restaurant uses the

according to TIME magazine: "Betty is unwittingly working to promote a

A man who pleaded guilty to the October 2013 murder of five relatives,
including four children was sentenced to 125 years to life in prison on
Tuesday October 20th. Mindong Chen, 27, butchered his cousin’s wife,
Qiao Zhen Li, 37 and her four children aged 9, 7, 5 and 18 months with a
meat cleaver during a frenzied attack at their home.
A state Supreme Court judge in Brooklyn handed down the term to Chen on
Tuesday, October 20. He was sentenced to three terms of 25 years to life
for murder and two terms of 25 years to life for manslaughter.
The 27-year-old pleaded guilty earlier this month to murder and manslaughter charges. His attorney declined comment.
"This defendant’s vicious and sadistic attack makes him completely unfit
to remain in society, and he will now spend the rest of his life behind
bars," Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson said.
"While we will never know what drove him to commit these murders, I hope
that this sentence will offer this grieving family some measure of
comfort."
Chen was found dripping in blood after slashing his victims’ throats.
The massacre happened around 10:45 p.m. on 57th Street in Sunset Park,
Brooklyn. Police responded to the home after receiving a report that one
person was stabbed inside. But when officers arrived, they found the
victims unconscious with stab wounds to their upper bodies.
Chen had been fired from restaurant jobs and told investigators he
envied the success of his relatives, who were fellow immigrants from
China.

In a wide-ranging and exclusive interview with Al Jazeera English’s
flagship current affairs show, ‘UpFront’, Nigerian president Muhammadu
Buhari pledged to defeat Boko Haram by December but also acknowledged he
would be willing to negotiate with the group to secure the release of
the kidnapped Chibok schoolgirls. They have to prove to us that they are alive, they are well, and then
we can…negotiate with them,” President Buhari told ‘UpFront’ host Mehdi
Hasan. “We said it and we meant it. If we are satisfied that the girls
are alive.”
When asked whether he would offer financial payments, or a prisoner
release, to Boko Haram in return for the girls, Buhari did not rule out
either option. “Well it depends on the negotiations with the leadership
of Boko Haram.” The
president has pledged to defeat Boko Haram by the end of 2015 and told
Hasan: “As soon as the rainy season comes, which is by the end of the
year […] Boko Haram will virtually be out of their main stronghold and
that will be the end of it [….] Attacks by Boko Haram on townships, on
military installations, will certainly stop.”
If Boko Haram isn’t defeated by December, however, Buhari said he “will not resign”.
“I will be determined to stay and fight it out.”
The president claimed not to have seen the Amnesty International
report from June 2015,‘Nigeria: Stars on their shoulders: Blood on their
hands’, in which the human-rights group documented abuses, torture and
unlawful killings by the Nigerian armed forces and urged the government
to prosecute a group of officers and senior commanders. “I haven’t
received that report personally,” said Buhari. “If I get those
documents… I assure you that I will take action as Commander in Chief.”
In the past, Buhari has been quoted as saying he supports “thetotal
implementation of the sharia in the country” but he told ‘UpFront’ that
“Nigerian law does not allow for” so-called sharia punishments, such as
stonings and amputations, adding: “I cannot change it. I haven’t been
voted by [a] majority of Nigerians to change Nigerian constitution.”
Asked about his record as a military dictator in the mid-1980s, and
the alleged human-rights abuses which occurred on his watch, Buhari
said: “If there is any injustice that can be proved against me when I
was there, I will gladly apologize.” The president refused, however, to
concede that his now-notorious ‘war against indiscipline’ in the 1980s
featured any such “injustice”.

Nigeria, We Hail Thee" is the former national anthem of Nigeria, used from independence in 1960 until 1978. Nigeria's present anthem, "Arise, O Compatriots," was adopted in 1978, replacing "Nigeria, We Hail Thee."
"Nigeria, We Hail Thee" was adopted as Nigeria's first national anthem on October 1, 1960. The anthem's lyrics were written by Lillian Jean Williams, a British expatriate who lived in Nigeria when it achieved independence. Frances Berda composed the music for "Nigeria, We Hail Thee."
The second national anthem, "Arise, O Compatriots," replaced "Nigeria, We Hail Thee" in 1978.When it was first announced, the new national anthem faced criticism for a number of reasons. The Daily Service, a newspaper run by the Yoruba organisation Egbé Ọmọ Odùduwà, started a campaign against the anthem, which led to a committee being established to collect signatures as a petition.below is the anthem
"Nigeria, We Hail Thee" (1960-1978)
Nigeria, we hail thee,
Our own dear native land,
Though tribe and tongue may differ,
In brotherhood we stand,
Nigerians all are proud to serve
Our sovereign Motherland.
Our flag shall be a symbol
That truth and justice reign,
In peace or battle honour'd,
And this we count as gain,
To hand on to our children
A banner without stain.
O God of all creation,
Grant this our one request,
Help us to build a nation
Where no man is oppressed,
And so with peace and plenty
Nigeria may be blessed

A
suspected telephone thief who was arrested with his accomplice, has
pleaded with the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos
State Police Command not to allow his parents find out that he engages
in phone theft in Lagos. The suspected phone thieves, Ufoma Asakpa, 22,
and Augustine Omedo, 20, were arrested after trying to steal a phone
from a shop at Abule-Oja in Yaba on Oct. 13.When
interrogated, one of the suspects who hails from Ndokwa Local
Government Area in Delta State, told NAN that his parents must not find
out that he was into stealing.
“I
was a secondary school dropout. I was unable to proceed to senior
classes after I failed Junior WAEC. My parents took me to my brother’s
shop to learn how to repair generators but I couldn’t endure the period
of apprenticeship. While looking for ways to earn quick money, I met my
partner who introduced me to stealing. I joined him about 10 months ago
and the police never caught us. In fact, my parents must not know that I
am a thief because I leave home every day as if I was going to work. I
have regretted my actions for taking to stealing for survival. It is the
devil that pushed me into it,’’ he said
His accomplice when interrogated said
“When
I entered the shop pretending to buy a sachet of water to cook rice, I
saw a phone charging in that shop. I took the phone and switched it off
immediately. My partner had also gone to another shop to steal phones
too. We had successfully stolen those phones but suddenly, we saw RRS
men chasing us. As we were about to mount on our motorcycle, we were
crossed and arrested,’’ he said in his confessional statement.
Speaking
on their arrest, Rapid Response Squad (RRS) commander, ACP Olatunji
Disu, said that the thieves were arrested after they successfully stole
three handsets from a shop in the Abule Oja area in Yaba, Lagos.
“Our
policemen who were on routine patrol around Yaba axis got a distress
call from victims informing them that there were thieves who robbed them
of their valuables. The suspects took to their heels but the policemen
chased and caught them while they attempted to mount a motorcycle,
popularly known as Okada. The duo was conveyed to the squad’s
headquarters in Alausa for interrogation. Upon completion of our
preliminary investigation, we discovered that the two suspects
specialized in stealing phones and other valuable items under the
pretence of buying products from any shop they visited. The suspects
confirmed that their tricks was to disguise as buyers and once they
found out that the seller is sleeping or off their sights, they will
pick their phones, money and other valuables,’’ he said
The
suspects have confessed to stealing over 70 phones which they sell to a
certain man named Alfa. They have both been transferred to the Special
Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the command for further investigation.
